Jennifer Aniston Wore Her Signature LBD to Play Pool with Courteney Cox

The HBO Max special has been postponed again.

In true Monica Geller style, Courtney Cox dominated her Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston in what appeared to be a friendly, not-at-all-competitive game of pool, though Cox's character's type-A tendencies did come through. In a video clip posted to her Instagram account, Aniston showed off her lack of billiard prowess while Cox let all of Aniston's followers know that she's basically a pool shark. Set to Hamilton‘s "My Shot" (appropriate), the short video also showed off one of Aniston's signatures: a little black dress.

While she tried her best to sink the solids, Aniston wore a silky black slip dress with thin spaghetti straps. She added layered necklaces and '70s aviator glasses.

"Friends shouldn't let Friends play pool (when they suck)," Aniston captioned the clip.

Cox shared the video on her feed, too (and she's got her own pair of aviators), writing, "I may have had a good night ... but could my friend BE any cuter?"

"It's been a long time," Aniston says in the post, exasperated that she can't manage to get any of her balls into the pockets.

Skills or not, the two friends are having a great time as they wait out the pandemic so that they can film the Friends reunion special for HBO Max. It was supposed to have filmed already, but it's been put on hold.

"We’re holding out for being able to get this special done hopefully by the end of the summer, if the stars align and hopefully we can get back into production," WarnerMedia Entertainment and Direct-to-Consumer chairman, Bob Greenblatt, told Variety. "We do think there’s a value to having a big, raucous live audience to experience these six great friends coming back together and we didn’t want to just suddenly do it on a web call with, you know, six squares and people shooting from their kitchens and bedrooms."

Until then, it's clear the cast is keeping busy.
