Jennifer Lawrence Is a Star, and the Proof Is in Her Outfit
It’s official: Jennifer Lawrence is a star. It’s written all over her. Yesterday, the actress promoted her new film, Passengers, in Paris in a star-themed outfit. Her ensemble was taken directly from the runway of the Dior Spring-Summer 2017 Ready-to-Wear Show. It consisted of a gray cashmere and Lurex sweater with one huge gold star in the middle and smaller ones dotted all around it, and a floor-length gray tulle skirt covered in gold embroidered bugs that, from far away, also look like stars.
Embroidered on the hem of the sweater is “L’Etoile,” which means “The Star,” in case you had forgotten Lawrence’s status.
The skirt is see-through, and showed off her toned legs and matching booty shorts. Lawrence is no stranger to baring her unmentionables; she recently wore La Perla lingerie as a top to the La La Land premiere.
While she could wear yesterday’s star-struck outfit anywhere and it would make sense, the celestial ensemble was particularly appropriate for this event, because Passengers is about space exploration.
She complemented the glimmer with a delicate chain choker and a low, wavy ponytail with a few loose strands framing her face.
The end result? Total Cinderella-goes-to-space vibes.
