Jennifer Lopez Wears Flowing White Sundress On Mother Daughter Date With Emme
On Saturday, May 14, Jennifer Lopez spent the day in Los Angeles with her 14-year-old daughter, enjoying some bonding time on a beautiful sunny day. The 52-year-old pop star and actress was wearing a white cotton dress from Doen that flowed around her on the breezy day, ending midway down Lopez's calves.
The night gown-style dress was fringed around the décolletage with scalloped lace and again at the high waist above the loose wide skirt.
She accessorized the sundress with a Dior book tote, a pair of rose-tinted reflective aviator sunglasses, and strappy platform high heel sandals in gold. Around her neck were an array of silver necklaces. She had her golden brown hair up in a casual bun.
Lopez shares Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, along with Emme's twin brother Max. Lopez started dating Anthony soon after her first split with boyfriend Ben Affleck in 2004. They had been friends for some time before getting together. They had something of a tumultuous relationship and eventually split up in 2011, before finalizing their divorce in 2014.
At the time, she told Oprah Winfrey in an interview, “Once I got divorced, I had to re-examine my whole life, because I waited to have kids, I had kids when I was 38, because I never wanted to not be with the person I was with and had kids with.”
She continued, “I just felt like, when we got divorced, it was the lowest time of my life, I felt like I had failed miserably and that I wasn’t going to give my kids what they needed.”
Since their divorce, Anthony and Lopez have become friends again and seem to have a healthy co-parenting relationship. Lopez has since reconciled with Affleck and they are now engaged and looking for new homes to live in with their blended family in California.
