'Jeopardy!' fans praise bisexual contestant for courageous display of bi pride

Tuesday’s Jeopardy! was much like any other episode, with one notable exception. Contestant Cody Lawrence wore a bisexual pride flag pin on the lapel of his jacket in hopes of bringing more visibility to the underrepresented group.

Lawrence live-tweeted while the show was being broadcast. He shared his own personal account of accepting his bisexuality and provided information and links for people wanting to learn more.

Fans and allies were very proud of Lawrence, with several voicing their support on social media.

Lawrence played well, but unfortunately did not provide the correct response in Final Jeopardy!. He finished in third place and took home $1,000.
