Jeremy Allen White Reportedly in Talks to Star in Bruce Springsteen Biopic
Jeremy Allen White is reportedly in early talks to play Bruce Springsteen. The film, confirmed by Variety is set to be about how the artist made his 1982 album, Nebraska.
So far, nothing has been confirmed yet, but Scott Cooper is currently circling to write and direct the biopic. The title of the film is set to be Deliver Me From Nowhere and production rests on the Gotham Group's Eric Robinson and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein at the moment. However, there is talks with A24 to have them on board. Following his departure from Netflix, Scott Stuber is also joining as a producer on the film.
The biopic is a film adaptation of the 2023 book by Warren Zanes, Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska. It is slated to follow the rock and roller and his journey to making his sixth studio album, which was known to many for marking a new artistic direction for Springsteen. White has been known to play the titular chef in The Bear and is currently filming the third and fourth season of the show in Chicago.
