Jessica Mulroney stuns in $1,145 look from one of the royals' favourite designers

Despite having access to clothing from some of the biggest names in fashion, Jessica Mulroney remains a loyal fan of Canadian designers.

The stylist and brand strategist recently made an appearance in Toronto to celebrate the launch of CND’s new Shellac Luxe nail polish.

Mulroney, the mastermind behind some of royal BFF Meghan Markle’s most iconic outfits, sported a $695 CAD pajama stripe dinner jacket and matching $450 CAD slouch pant by Canadian label Smythe.

Paired with an orange camisole, gold hoop earrings and Christian Louboutin heels, Mulroney shared her thoughts on bridal nail trends and dished on her favourite go-to polish (Psst: it’s CND’s Romantique).

Thanks to Mulroney, Smythe has become a go-to label for the Duchess of Sussex. Earlier this year, she wore a stone-coloured coat by the brand during an appearance with her then fiancé, Prince Harry, earlier this year. The brand even has an entire page on their site dedicated to snaps of the former actress wearing their clothing.

However, Smythe had ties to the royal family well before Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry. Kate Middleton owns two Smythe Duchess blazers, one blue and one green, and even wore the brand during official royal visits to Canada.

With a timeless sense of style and high-profile fans, Smythe is a homegrown treasure.
