Jessica Plummer has admitted to struggling to adapt to normal life after starring in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!.
The former EastEnders star and Neon Jungle singer reckoned everyday tasks such as the school run and making food proved too much for her as she tried to get used to life outside of the castle.
Plummer, who took part in the 2020 series, told Digital Spy: "Oh my goodness, I kept losing my phone everywhere because I wasn't used to having it. I completely forgot how to do the school run. I dropped my daughter off to school 45 minutes early the first day!
"I was never a cook, but little things like making my own food and things like that. Driving my car... I was driving my car really slowly and was really worried that I couldn't drive properly. Parking was atrocious..."
If Plummer's struggles sound a little OTT after a relatively short stay away from home, she reminded people that her time on the series was more than just what we saw on TV.
She said: "You've got to remember it wasn't just the castle – I was in lockdown two weeks prior to that as well. So it was over a month's worth of being out of reality and then playing catch-up."
The celebrities who took part in the 2020 series were made to self-isolate for two weeks in the run-up to the show launch as a precaution against coronavirus.
It was also the first series not to take place in the Australian jungle, with travel restrictions putting paid to the usual jaunt Down Under.
It looks likely that the 2021 series will be heading back to the Welsh castle, with travel restrictions to Australia still in place for UK travellers.
Plummer added that she had expected a new-found appreciation for running water and her washing machine after the series ended, but admitted that after a week of being grateful it was "back to normality".
