JFK's Nephew Just Shared a Rare Vintage Family Photo on Instagram

A week after celebrating the wedding of Robert F. "Bobby" Kennedy III and former CIA officer Amaryllis Fox at the Kennedy Compound on Cape Cod, two members of the famous brood posted rare vintage family photos on Instagram.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted the black-and-white shot below, which features Robert F. Kennedy and Ethel Kennedy at the right end of a long row of nine of their 11 children (the couple had seven boys and four girls).

RFK Jr.'s sister Kerry shared a sepia-toned photo of a cameraman trying to film a sailboat full of about 20 members of the family with the cheeky caption, "Always room for one more! #TBT"

The following day, she posted a shot of her father and astronaut John Glenn riding the Matterhorn Bobsled (in suits!) at Disneyland.

Yesterday, Kerry returned to present-day posts with a picture of her family celebrating July 4 on their lawn overlooking Nantucket Sound.

Matriarch Ethel Kennedy is visible front and center, just as she was when her grandson Bobby married Fox on July 7.

"I'm really happy," Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told me before the wedding. When I asked if the whole Kennedy family was looking forward to the wedding, the groom's father said "everybody is excited." And their feelings about Fox? "We love her."

RFK III, 33, and the former CIA clandestine service officer, 36, dated for about a year before their wedding, which included a clambake like the one Kennedy Jr. organized when he married actress Cheryl Hines at the family compound in 2014.

One notable absence from Kerry's July 4 group shot? Academy Award-winning actress Julia Roberts and her daughter, Hazel-the pair were with the Kennedys on Cape Cod earlier during the holiday week.
