Counting On star Jinger Duggar only gave birth to her daughter less than a month ago, and the new mom is reportedly already getting mommy-shamed from her followers.

The 24-year-old mom posted an Instagram photo on Tuesday of Felicity Nicole Vuolo that made fans question her parenting habits.

The picture being criticized is one that Jinger probably thought was an adorable update on her baby - she simply captioned the photo "😍 #FelicityNicoleVuolo #3.5weeks." In it, Felicity is asleep in a carseat wearing an adorable pink headband.

According to In Touch, comments on the Instagram photo said that the adorable pink headband was a "suffocation hazard." Other comments were about Felicity's appearance.

Jinger reacted to mommy-shamers by simply turning off the comments feature on that post. While the Instagram comments are no longer visible, the Facebook version of it on the Duggar Family's page is still active.

There, the parenting police commented on the car seat, which they thought was putting Felicity in danger. "To[o] small for this kind of seat. Watch her little back please," one person commented on the Facebook photo. "She could suffocate in that position," another person wrote. "Please put her in a proper reclining seat."

Of course, it's hard to tell exactly what's going in the photo without being there to see the car seat in person, but Selina Tedesco, a product analyst in the Good Housekeeping Institute, says to always follow the manufacturer's instructions and use all products, especially if they involve children's safety, as advised.

"Car seats specify weight and height requirements, so you should always make sure your child is within those limits and install the seat according to the manufacturer's instructions. We also advise against using any secondhand products in this category," she said.

If you're ever in doubt about your car seat, you can visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website to find a certified car seat inspection near you.

Jinger's husband, Jeremy, faced similar criticism about putting his infant in front of a laptop.

People commented on Jeremy's photo saying that Felicity is too young to be near such a bright screen.

Obviously when a family is in the spotlight so much, they're going to face criticism from people. Jinger definitely handled the situation responsibly. We imagine she knows what's best for her baby, and she just has to avoid the haters who come after her - even if it means shutting down the comments.
