Joe Biden Unfollowed Chrissy Teigen on Twitter at Her Request

Joe Biden Only Follows One Celebrity and It's Chrissy Teigen

Her reaction was priceless.

UPDATE: President Joe Biden has unfollowed Chrissy Teigen on Twitter — after she asked him to. On Tuesday morning, Teigen tweeted the POTUS account, writing, "In order for me to flourish as me, I must ask you to please lord unfollow me. I love you!!! It's not you it's me!!!!"

Teigen seemingly got her wish just a couple of hours later, when the @POTUS account unfollowed her.

The POTUS Twitter account now follows just 12 accounts, including those of Dr. Jill Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.

Chrissy Teigen's social media antics are paying off.

Ahead of the Inauguration Wednesday morning, Teigen jokingly tweeted "hello @joebiden I have been blocked by the president for four years can I get a follow plz."

Teigen, along with many others, had been blocked on Twitter by former (oh, that feels good) President Trump — of course, that was before Twitter banned him from the platform.

Wednesday evening during the "Celebrating America" concert, an eagle-eyed Twitter user spotted that the POTUS account was following one extra account that wasn't quite like the others he follows.

"The official @POTUS account now follows 11 people — all of them Biden aides or accounts, and then @chrissyteigen."

And apparently, the cookbook author didn't get that notification, because this tweet broke the news to her. Needless to say, she was seemingly ecstatic, and in true Chrissy fashion, took to Twitter to share her excitement.

"OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!!" She wrote. In a separate tweet, she added, "my heart oh my god lmao I can finally see the president's tweets and they probably won't be unhinged"

Shortly after, the model followed up with a funny and oddly relatable tweet that majorly gives us that "my boss just followed me on social media" feeling.
