Jordyn Woods Left a Coachella Party After Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin Made Her 'Visibly Uncomfortable'
A fuller picture is emerging of just how terribly awkward things got when Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin saw Kylie Jenner's ex-best friend Jordyn Woods at a Coachella party, courtesy of People and Us Weekly. Why is there drama between them? The Kardashian-Jenner family cut off Woods after it came out that Khloé Kardashian's then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson kissed her at a house party he threw, cheating on Khloé. Woods claimed it was just a kiss on her Red Table Talk interview last month; the Kardashian-Jenner family didn't entirely buy that.
Coachella was Woods's first public run-in with anyone in the Kardashian-Jenner orbit. Paparazzi captured how unamused Baldwin, Kendall's friend, looked seeing Woods at one Coachella party on Saturday.
But Baldwin and Kendall went to another party together that same day, the Bootsy Bellows Pool Party, where Woods was already in attendance. According to People and Us Weekly's witnesses, they both saw Woods, and the three girls made eye contact that was spectacularly tense and awkward. It was so unnerving that Woods left the party shortly after.
Us got Woods's side of it. “Hailey and Kendall saw Jordyn and both gave her a stare,” its witness explained. “Jordyn was visibly uncomfortable by their reaction. As Jordyn was sitting, her and her mom were in a bit of an argument and she told her mom, ‘I don’t want to discuss this right now.’ [She] didn’t stay long after that, and she was telling people she was ‘ready to leave.’”
Once Woods left, Us's source said that Kendall and Baldwin "became a lot more social with everyone.”
People echoed Us's account. “It was such an awkward moment, everyone saw it,” its source said, telling the outlet that Woods's and Jenner's tables were in direct eyeshot of each other, so this encounter couldn't really be avoided. “They made eye contact and you could see that they all thought this is awkward-they were saying it with their eyes and body language. It wasn’t hard to see the tension and the awkwardness.”
It was only a short amount of time before Woods left after having an argument with her mom, People's source said. And yes, Kendall and Baldwin were relieved. “They were basically [like], ‘Let’s get this party started’ and were chatting away with Gigi [Hadid]," the source said.
