Julia Fox Wore a Caged Corset With the Kookiest Bird Bag
And added a pair of sheer opera gloves for good measure.
Julia Fox's style isn't for the faint of heart. From teeny-tiny chain bikinis to horsetail accessories, there's no denying that her fashion choices are controversial — but perhaps what ultimately pushes her looks over the edge are the accessories. More specifically, her wildly chaotic handbags.
Just this year, she carried a clutch made from actual human hair to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and before that, she shocked everyone while toting around a six-foot-tall body bag as her purse. And yesterday, she was at it again — this time, accessorizing her already-whacky outfit with an even kookier handbag.
On Friday, Fox attended the New York premiere of her new movie Something You Said Last Night, and for the occasion, she stuck with her signature shock-and-awe aesthetic. Wearing a metal cage-style corset with nothing underneath, the actress paired the top with sheer black opera gloves and a matching floor-sweeping satin maxi skirt. However, the most eye-catching part of her look was her handbag: a black shoulder bag molded into the shape of a crow, complete with a beak and bird feet.
On the red carpet, Fox emphasized the life-like nature of her handbag by dangling it down to the ground as if she was walking it on a leash.

Earlier this month, Fox offered some insight about why she dresses the way she does while speaking with Entertainment Tonight. "If people could see what I dress like in my day-to-day, it’s literally like boxers, stained, dirty T-shirts, Adidas slides. It’s not this," she said. "That’s kind of why when I do get dressed up, I want to go all out because my real life is so unglamorous."
