Justin Timberlake Is Reportedly Considering a Tell-All Oprah Interview Due to Britney Spears Drama
The roll-out of Justin Timberlake's new music hasn't exactly gone as planned. By which I mean he dropped a song called "Selfish" and Britney Spears fans made her 2011 song of the same name go to #1. Oh, and then he was completely slammed for starting a performance of "Cry Me a River" with "I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely fucking nobody."
Justin Timberlake while performing in New York City last night:
“I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f**king nobody.” https://t.co/XTNsOoy6Od— Pop Crave (@PopCrave) February 1, 2024
And amid reports that Justin is upset over drama with Britney, he's *reportedly* considering a tell-all interview with Oprah.
"Justin is really not happy how things have gone down," a source tells The Sun (via Page Six). “He wanted [his new] music to speak for itself, but that’s clearly not happening. His comments onstage have only added fuel to the fire. The idea of a sit-down chat with someone like Oprah Winfrey was floated months ago and is now back on the cards.”
Page Six previously reported that Justin is "seething" over the drama with Britney "overshadowing his new music," and "had hoped the backlash [from Britney's memoir] would’ve blown over by now so that he could focus on his new album, which he’s very excited about, but every day is something new."
Meanwhile, Britney seemingly responded to Justin's non-apology, saying on her private Instagram "Someone told me someone was talking s**t about me on the streets!!! Do you want me to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time??? I'm not sorry!!!!"
