'I mean, I been through some sh*t lately': Kaitlynn Carter hits back after being told she's 'too thin'
Kaitlynn Carter is hitting back after a fan told her she looks “too thin.”
The former style blogger and star of the MTV reality reboot of “The Hills” shared snaps to Instagram of herself lounging poolside in a hot pink bikini during a Palm Springs getaway. Carter, who recently dated Miley Cyrus following her split with long-time fiancé/kind of husband, Brody Jenner, hinted at emotional distress after fans commented on her appearance.

“Oh Kaitlynn you look too thin, are you OK?” a concerned follower wrote. “You are so beautiful. Hope all is OK. It was nice to see you healthy for a bit modelling. It was normal. It seems like the new norm is being shown [that] super thin is only exceptional.”
The 31-year-old alluded to her recent headline making break-ups with a light hearted reply, “I mean, I been through some sh*t lately LOL.”

Although Carter quickly deleted the comment, the blonde model has had a tough go as of late. After supposedly tying the knot with Jenner, her partner of five years, in a lavish ceremony in Indonesia, it was revealed that the pair were not legally married after their break-up in August 2019.
While Jenner quickly moved on to Josie Conseco, the daughter of former MLB star José Conseco, Carter began a whirlwind romance with 26-year-old Cyrus. The pair shared photos from their romantic Italian vacation and were spotted being very affectionate with one another through September, before calling it quits.

It was reported that Cyrus, who had just announced her divorce from husband Liam Hemsworth, “wasn’t ready for anything serious.” However, she quickly moved on to Australian singer, Cody Simpson.
Cyrus recently addressed her relationship with Simpson and hinted at her fling with Carter during an Instagram Live with her new beau.
“There are good men out there, guys. Don’t give up,” Cyrus told fans. “You don’t have to be gay. There are good people with dicks out there, you’ve just got to find them. You’ve got the find a dick that’s not a dick, you know? I always thought I had to be gay because I thought all guys were evil, but it’s not true. There are good people out there that just happen to have dicks. I’ve only ever met one, and he’s on this Live.”

Carter has yet to publicly address her breakup with either Jenner or Cyrus, but it looks like a little poolside rest and relaxation is just what the reality star needs - sans skinny shaming.
