Kate Hudson’s Red Jumpsuit Would Pair Well With a Pumpkin Spice Latte

Kate Hudson may be in New Orleans, but she’s ready for a New England fall in red-orange. She appeared in the Big Easy on Monday night for the premiere of her film Deepwater Horizon in a head-to-toe glow.

The actress wore an Elie Saab red-orange strapless jumpsuit with flared pants and pockets and a matching embroidered sheer bomber jacket.

The supercomfy looking suit had very loose legs that were so long we couldn’t see her feet, so she could have been wearing slippers for all we know, and more power to her if she was (but we highly doubt it, since she towered over everyone on the carpet, including her hunky onscreen husband, Mark Wahlberg, and co-star Gina Rodriguez).

Hudson went easy on the accessories, since the outfit is bright enough on its own. She opted for gold earrings and a few rings. Her makeup was very light, with a slick of subtly orange lipstick to go with her look, and she wore her signature blond locks loose.

By now we’re well-aware that Hudson is a big fan of jumpsuits, and she knows how to rock them. She wore a very similar Atelier Versace jumpsuit in light blue to the Kung Fu Panda 3 premiere. For some reason, she decided to wear that one with the thigh-high slit on one pant leg to the premiere of the children’s movie, and cover up with a bomber jacket to this one.

Hey, whatever floats her boat, or should we say, oil rig … too soon?
