How Kate and Meghan Markle approach photos differently

Meghan Markle has hundreds of photographs in her future as prepares to join the royal family, who are constantly snapped on official outings and at events. One of the most photographed women in the world, her soon-to-be sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge can surly relate, though the two approach the camera in different ways. While the duchess rarely looks directly at the camera, Meghan tends to face photographers front-on.

Last week, Meghan and her royal fiancé Prince Harry dazzled crowds in Wales. The couple spent the day in the capital, visiting famed Cardiff Castle where they heard performances from musicians and poets, met leading sportsmen and women, and saw how organisations work to promote the Welsh language and cultural identity, as part of a Welsh Cultural Festival.

Meghan, 36, thrilled fans, waving and greeting well-wishers. She received a kiss on the hand from one gentleman, high fived a group of schoolchildren and even broke royal protocol not once but twice. The former Suits actress happily signed an autograph for a young girl who had waited hours outside Cardiff Castle, and later during the walkabout, Meghan posed for a selfie with another fan, despite saying she was "not allowed" to take photos with members of the public during a previous engagement.

During a visit to Brixton, south London earlier this month, the American beauty also revealed that she was "so excited" about her upcoming royal wedding. When station manager Adrian Newman told Prince Harry he had a question for him, the Queen's grandson joked: "She answers the questions," to which Meghan responded: "Yes, talking of gender equality!"

Meghan wears a style no royal has ever worn before!

With just four months to go, Meghan has also reportedly had her first wedding dress fitting. According to Good Morning America, Meghan flew her close friend and stylist, Jessica Mulroney, from Canada to London to help her decide which gown to wear for her big day. Following the fitting, Jessica reportedly stayed at Kensington Palace with Harry and Meghan for four nights, and was thought to help Meghan decide on more outfits for her upcoming engagements.
