Kate Middleton conquers rocky driving track in Land Rover — all while smiling (and wearing heels)

The Duchess of Cambridge has already shown she can do just about anything in high heels, from playing field hockey to boxing, cricket to darts. On Wednesday, she further proved this fact to be true when she visited Jaguar Land Rover’s Solihull manufacturing plant in Birmingham.

Kate Middleton, wearing a a black coat by Goat, skinny black jeans, a matching sweater, and a pair of $511 suede riding boots from Russell & Bromley, expertly navigated rocky terrain in a white SUV.

The 35-year-old. who’s expecting her third child in April, was pictured smiling as she got behind the wheel and drove on an off-road track.

Kate is rarely pictured driving, but Queen Elizabeth and Prince William have a noted preference for chauffeuring themselves. After both Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born, William drove Kate and the newborns home.

The royal pair also met with Mountain Rescue volunteers during the trip. Their next stop was to meet schoolchildren at a local primary school and then travel to Aston Villa Football Club. Middleton changed into sneakers and a puffy red jacket. There, William will get to live his lifelong dream of training with his favorite team.
