  • Kate Middleton wore a blush pink Alexander McQueen coat dress to a Buckingham Palace garden party.

  • She arrived with her husband, Prince William, and the queen.

Kate Middleton rocks her favorite designer once again for a springtime garden party at Buckingham Palace. The Duchess of Cambridge went all out in a pink double-breasted coat dress by Alexander McQueen with elegant, pleated details on the skirt. She went the monochrome route with a blush hat by Juliette Botterill, a matching Loeffler Randall clutch, and a pair of nude pumps to complete the ensemble.

The duchess arrived with her husband, Prince William, who looked sharp in a three-piece suit, hat, and umbrella. The royal couple entered right after the queen, who also went for a pastel theme in a powder blue Stewart Parvin coat over a printed dress, and a Rachel Trevor-Morgan hat. She accessorized with white gloves, her signature black handbag, black loafers, an umbrella (it looked sunny, but just in case!), and sunglasses.

This is a big event for the trio. According to royal correspondent Rebecca English, there are about 8,000 guests at the outdoor soirée.

Kate actually wore a similar pink look for a Buckingham Palace garden party in 2012, which she attended with Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. Her pleated frock at the time was by Emilia Wickstead.

Just yesterday, the royal trio attended the Chelsea Flower show together. Kate, who helped design the "Back to Nature Garden" at the annual event, was seen showing Her Majesty around the exhibit.

At the time, the queen and Duchess of Cambridge also went for spring-worthy looks, opting for a pastel green and floral Erdem dress respectively.

Earlier this week, Kate paid a visit to the garden with her royal kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. "I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young kiddies," the mother of three said in a video.
