It’s a solo day in the spotlight for the Duchess of Cambridge, who looked radiant for her royal engagement in London on Wednesday morning.

Middleton stopped by the Natural History Museum, of which she has been a patron since 2013, where she learned how the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity is championing and helping to protect UK wildlife.

A strong advocate for the great outdoors and environmental conservation, the Duchess has spoken in the past about her appreciation for the Natural History Museum, and how she’s passing along those values to her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

“I remember visiting the Natural History Museum as a child, and being inspired with a love of nature,” she shared during a July 2017 event. “And now, as a parent myself, I am experiencing the joy all over again with my own children, who adore coming here, and it is not just to see the T-Rex mind you.”

While visiting the centre, the 37-year-old royal toured the museum while observing the specimens on display and viewing DNA sequencing in action.

Kate looked stunning in a dressed-down outfit for the outing, pairing a sold-out $66 CAD Warehouse sweater (you can still sign up for a back in stock email!) with a pair of wide-legged pants from UK brand Jigsaw.

She accessorized her affordable outfit with a luxurious $6,225 CAD gold and burgundy top handle Chanel handbag, that she’s been spotted with since 2017, and a pair of fringed Tod’s heels.

Originally retailing for $211 CAD, the Duchess’ olive green culottes are currently on sale for $145 CAD, although they unfortunately don’t deliver to Canada.

Luckily, we’ve rounded up some of the best options that are available to Canadians if you’re looking to get Kate’s look for yourself.
