Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle reunite — and glam up — for queen's Christmas lunch

The festive season has begun for the royals, as family members — including Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — arrived for Queen Elizabeth II’s annual Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday afternoon.

Each year, the 92-year-old monarch hosts a big luncheon for extended members of her family, before she departs for Sandringham for Christmas. The Norfolk estate isn’t thought to be large enough to accommodate everyone, so this is their annual get-together.

William and Kate arrived with two of their children, George, 5, and Charlotte, 3, in the back of their car. The duchess wore a pastel pink ensemble with pussy-bow detailing and diamond drop earrings for the occasion.

Meanwhile, sister-in-law Meghan Markle was photographed in the passenger seat as husband Prince Harry drove through the palace gates. Meghan appeared to be wearing a high-neck ruffled outfit and statement diamond earrings.

Prince Philip, 97, was also seen being driven to the lunch, joined by two of his children, Princess Anne and Prince Andrew.

Anne’s son, Peter Phillips, arrived with his wife, Autumn, and daughters Savannah and Isla, while Sophie, Countess of Wessex, beamed in a burgundy coat and gray scarf as she drove herself and 15-year-old daughter Louise to the lunch.
