Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, has been front-and-centre at the last couple of royal events.
On Saturday’s Trooping the Colour the mother of three seemed very much in charge of the mischievous children in front of her, standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
At her brother and sister-in-law’s wedding a few weeks ago she, again, she had the important task of herding children into the chapel, alongside the likes of Jessica Mulroney.
However, we all seem to have forgotten that 36 year-old Kate should be on maternity leave.
After the birth of her adorable baby boy Prince Louis, it was expected that she would not be needed for the next six months - from April to October.
It is traditional for royal mothers to be allowed half a year off, to look after their little one, and themselves before returning to their sometimes gruelling schedule.
So why has she still been out and about? Well, apparently Trooping the Colour and the royal wedding actually count as family events and not official engagements. This means that Saturday may have been the last we see of the Duchess until the autumn.
Though, Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told the Express that there is hope, in the form of Louis' christening where Kate and her son will be out and about, 'His Christening, reportedly in the summer, is likely to be when he is next seen.'
Thank goodness for that.
