Kate Middleton and Prince William Shared a Brand-New Photo of Prince Louis for His Birthday
Just in time for his third birthday, the Kensington Royals posted a new photo of Prince Louis. The new snapshot was taken, of course, by Kate Middleton, and the royals said that the duchess captured her son right as he was leaving for his first day at Willocks Nursery School in London, which happens to be the same school his sister, Princess Charlotte, attends.
"They chose that nursery because they thought it would be an ideal first step for Charlotte's education, and they were impressed by the team who work there," a source told People.
The young prince is dressed in head-to-toe blue, with shorts and sneakers paired with a sweater and collared shirt. He's riding a red bike and is sporting his backpack, too.
"Three tomorrow," the caption reads. "Taken earlier this week by The Duchess before he left for his first day of nursery, The Duke and Duchess are pleased to share a new image of Prince Louis."

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share a new photograph ahead of Prince Louis' third birthday tomorrow," Kensington Palace said in a statement released on Thursday, People adds.
The photo continues the palace's tradition of releasing a new image of Louis for his birthday. The Cambridges released similar photos, Today reports, for Louis's first and second birthdays.
