This weekend, Kate Middleton reportedly stepped out with Prince William and the couple's three children — George, Charlotte, and Louis — in Windsor. According to eyewitnesses at The Sun, the Prince and Princess of Wales watched their kids play sports before visiting a local farm stand.

“After all the rumors that had been going round I was stunned to see them there,” an onlooker shared with the outlet. “Kate was out shopping with William, and she looked happy and she looked well. The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops.”

The only problem with this narrative? Not a single photograph was taken from the outing, which inevitably sent the internet into a tailspin.

"Not the 'no one took any photos but pinky promise Kate Middleton was at a farm' headline," wrote one skeptic on X (formerly Twitter), while another added, "All those people supposedly saw Kate Middleton out shopping in a farm shop and NOBODY took a picture???"

This new sighting comes just a week after the Mother's Day photo scandal, which saw several photo and news agencies "kill" an image of Kate and her kids over manipulation concerns. The princess admitted to using Photoshop and apologized for "any confusion" in an official statement following the controversy.

"Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused," she wrote in an apology posted to X. "I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C."

Meanwhile, royal expert Tom Bower told The Daily Mail that Middleton's alleged appearance over the weekend "suggests panic at the Palace." He added, "Just as last week's furore has died down, they allowed her to reignite all the questions about her health which should remain private. Her advisors clearly can't decide what their strategy should be, or agree it with the Wales's. If they carry on like this - ducking and weaving—it will end badly."
