Kate Middleton went out for St. Patrick's Day, as she has done most years as a royal with Prince William. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were part of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards St Patrick's Day Parade in Hounslow, England. This year, Kate wore a festive shamrock brooch, a custom Alexander McQueen dark emerald green coat dress and a matching fascinator. She completed the look with black heels:

Kate also partook in her annual St. Patrick's Day tradition: pinning a cluster of shamrocks on the First Battalion Irish Guardsmen's mascot, an Irish Wolfhound named Domhnall. Kate clearly enjoyed herself while doing so:

Last year, Kate wore a Catherine Walker coat. At the time, she was very pregnant with Prince Louis.

Kate last went out for two events five days ago. In the morning, she was at the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre, where she learned "how Lambeth Early Action Partnership are using the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS) to support parents, carers and their children," according to the Palace. Kate chose a spring-ready lavender Gucci bow blouse and black Jigsaw trousers.

In the evening, she wrapped her day at the NPG Portrait Gala at the National Portrait Gallery in London. She wore black floral Alexander McQueen gown for the ritzy event.

Kate's next event will be this Tuesday, when she visits the Foundling Museum
to understand how they use art to make a positive contribution to society by engaging with vulnerable and marginalized young people," according to Kensington Palace.
