Kate Middleton was ready to show off her tennis skills during the final day of her tour of Scotland with Prince William.

On Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived at a Lawn Tennis Association Youth event in Edinburgh to meet with local students from Canal View Primary School.

The Duchess, who is a Royal patron of the All England Tennis Club and lifelong tennis fan, showed off her skills in a match against Prince William. Although the 39-year-old and her pint-sized team lost to their opponents, Middleton charmed on-lookers as she chatted and allowed the students to give her a few pointers.

While Middleton's wardrobe has featured show stopping coats and bright pops of colour, the Duchess's tennis look featured one of her favourite pair of sneakers, the Superga Cotu sneakers.

Middleton paired the classic canvas sneakers with a pair of black trousers and a collegiate-inspired Ralph Lauren Cable-Knit Cricket Sweater. The mother-of-three kept her children close to her heart with a delicate gold necklace by Daniella Draper that featured each of her children's initials and a pair of Chain Huggie Hoop earrings by Orelia London ($22).

The Duchess of Cambridge has been a longtime fan of Superga sneakers and has been sporting the Cotu style for royal events since 2016.
