The Duchess of Cambridge was visiting the hospital's Sunshine House, the children's development center, where she met with the Family Nurse Partnership, a program for first-time parents and young families. The organization hits close to home for the royal, who has three young kids—Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1—and works extensively in the Early Years sector.

Footage from today's engagement shows Kate meeting with representatives from the hospital, and bonding with mothers and children.

Recently, the duchess' family life and work with children's issues collided when she visited George and Charlotte's school for a workshop on children's mental health. Kate quietly attended the three-hour session over the summer, and topics "from body image issues to how pupils can emotionally support each other" were discussed, a source told People.

Author and mental health advocate Hope Virgo, who hosted the meeting, told the outlet that the duchess personally spoke to her after the session to discuss Virgo's work with young people. "She was very chatty and friendly," she said.
