The Duchess of Cambridge’s chic, polished style is one that’s emulated the world over, and she recently stepped out in a pair of summer’s must-haves shoes: wedge espadrilles.
She’s been spotted in this $290 pair by Spanish brand Castañer multiple times in the last few months, including her latest appearance at the Hampton Court Flower Festival, which she attended alongside children from Hampton Hill junior school.
For a day spent engaging the students in the Back to Nature Garden that she helped design, the Duchess paired her strappy suede espadrilles with a printed dress by Parisian brand Sandro, which is now on sale for $222, down from $370.
Last week the 37-year old royal stepped out in the Castañer wedges when she attended a children’s photography workshop run by the Royal Photographic Society in celebration of her recent appointment as royal patron there.
Earlier this year Kate also paired her Castañer wedges with a long-sleeved maxi dress in a bold botanical print by British-Canadian designer Erdem on a visit to the Chelsea Flower Show with her husband Prince William and The Queen.
Kate’s recent outings have showcased just how versatile these stylish wedges are, proving that they look equally chic at an outdoor garden party or a more formal event.
Although Kate’s exact shade of tan espadrilles are no longer available, you can take your style cues from her recent outfits and shop the easy summertime shoe style below.
