Kate Moss’s New Airport Shoes Are Unexpected—And Undeniably Cool, Too

For some of the globe’s most stylish celebrities, the walk to and from the airport doubles as a runway. A-list stars such as Kim Kardashian West and Victoria Beckham, not to mention royals Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, have nailed the art of elevated airport style, choosing on-the-go looks that are comfortable and practical, but super polished, too. Another such master of travel fashion? Kate Moss.

Today, the supermodel was spotted touching down in Incheon, South Korea, and her signature effortless-cool aesthetic was in full effect as she de-planed. She also proved that an airport shoe doesn’t always have to mean comfy sneakers.

Being the trendsetter that she is, Moss chose a more offbeat shoe style for her airport look: cool cowboy boots. Cut from black leather, the calf-grazing footwear was undeniably sleek, especially paired with the rest of her outfit: a gray topcoat, polka dot blouse, skinny black jeans, and poppy red shoulder. Western boots happen to be a major trend for spring, so it’s unsurprising that Moss is already jumping on the yee-haw! movement, though her take was more high fashion than rodeo ready. And given that cowboy boots slip on and off at the drop of hat, going through TSA supermodel style came with zero stress.
