It's time to grab that box of tissues, Dawson's Creek fans.

Katie Holmes basically shut down all hopes that she and fellow DC alums James Van Der Beek, and Joshua Jackson will get back together for a reunion, when she appeared on SiriusXM's Just Jenny Show Tuesday and was asked about it.

"I don't think we're going to do a reunion," Holmes told radio host Jenny Hutt. As for why? It appears they've all simply moved on. "We see each other every now and then," Holmes said when asked to explain. "I think that the charm of the show was Kevin Williamson's writing and it was of that time and it gave teenagers this voice. It was a very, very special time--a special show and I loved every minute of it."

Holmes wasn't the only Dawson's Creek alum who has been asked recently about the possibility of a reunion. Michelle Williams was also questioned about it during an appearance on the Today show in April, and reminded host Savannah Guthrie that her character Jen Lindley never made it to the end of the show.

"I died. I would have to come back as a ghost--or put a lot of filters on the camera, and I'll do flashback scenes," she quipped. "I think it's a fun thing to sort of imagine. I like imagining it. But I haven't really heard anybody say anything like actually serious about that happening."
