Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are going to be neighbours with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
So it looks like Montecito in Santa Barbara County, California is definitely the cool place to be right now. According to reports, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have just bought a stunning new property in the neighbourhood, which means they're going to be living very close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who moved into their home back in June.
Variety reports Katy and Orlando's new mega mansion is worth $14.2 million and boasts lots of incredible features, not to mention beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and "nearly nine acres of manicured grounds". Some of the very fancy features include:
A guest house "with a full kitchen, bedroom suite, private office and roomy living/dining area".
A "gorgeous" tiled swimming pool.
A huge dressing room and walk-in wardrobe.
A "full-size sports court".
Multiple fountains.
A poolhouse with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry bought their Montecito home over the summer after temporarily staying at Tyler Perry's Los Angeles mansion following their step back from royal life. According to HELLO!, the house has a total of nine bathrooms, sixteen bedrooms and a separate outdoor guest house. Within the main building, there's thought to be an office and library, as well as a spa, a gym, an arcade, a games room and a movie room, as well as a five car garage.
Whether the two couples will become BFFs remains to be seen, but they do have have a lot in common: guest houses, celebrity status, young kids, and charitable work. If not, Ariana Grande, Gwyneth Paltrow and Oprah Winfrey also live in the neighbourhood...
