Katy Perry sent a powerful message with her 'Persist' armband
Katy Perry made a subtle statement at the 59th Grammy Awards on Sunday.
Did you catch it?
The pop star debuted her new single “Chained To The Rhythm” wearing a sexy black bustier under an all-white pantsuit with contrasting black lapels.
But she also accessorized her outfit with a sparkly arm band that read “PERSIST.”
Perry has been a vocal supporter of Hillary Clinton. She’s appeared at rally for the former secretary of state and performed at the Democratic National Convention.
She even dressed up as Clinton for Halloween, looking absolutely unrecognizable in prosthetic makeup and a red pantsuit.

She’s also taken to Twitter to publicly voice her thoughts on Trump on numerous occasions.

I’m pretty sure Katy Perry’s armband says “Persist” instead of “Resist,” which strikes me as a much more positive message.
