Kelly Osbourne recalls rejecting men who called her 'too fat' before 85-pound weight loss

Kelly Osbourne knows her worth.

On Thursday's episode of "The Talk," Osbourne elaborated on her 85-pound weight loss following her gastric sleeve surgery, recalling a recent moment when she rejected multiple interested men in one day.

"It was all guys I had shown interest in before but had all made comments about 'she's great, but she's too fat,' " she says. "So it was all of those people that came back around again, so I was like, 'no no.' "

The 36-year-old daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne also reflected on her physical transformation. Though she's open about the procedure she received to help her attain her new look, she admits she also required a mental makeover.

"I did one year of therapy before I even committed to doing the surgery that I did, which was the gastric sleeve, and I did the gastric sleeve almost three years ago," Osbourne explains. "So when I say it's not a quick fix, it is not a quick fix. You have to eat right, you have to work out, you have to do everything that you would normally do."

Osbourne, who has been open about her journey, says that being open is an important part of self love and confidence. Though women in Hollywood tend to keep their cosmetic procedures private, the British actress says she refuses to be "a liar" and will always be honest about how she lost weight.

"Nobody's perfect. You were not born perfect, you will not die perfect," she says. "The cosmetic side of things- you can change. So own it, show people what you can become, embrace the beauty within as well as the beauty without."

Osbourne has publicly talked about working toward a healthier weight since her 2009 days on “Dancing With the Stars,” when she danced and dieted to lose 20 pounds. In 2011, she appeared on the cover of Shape magazine and said she’s “finally learned to do it right”: “I never thought in a million years I'd be that healthy girl who wakes up every morning to exercise.”
