Kelly Ripa and Her Family Continue This Sweet Holiday Tradition for Their Loved Ones

Kelly Ripa, 52, does not hold back when it comes to celebrating the holidays. Whether it's the many costumes she and Ryan Seacrest don each Halloween on Live with Kelly and Ryan, or the tacky Christmas sweaters she pulls out each December, we know that the talk show host is the definition of festive. And so, it should come as no surprise that Ripa has established a special tradition for her friends and family every time Christmas rolls around.

The Live co-host and her husband, Mark Consuelos, have made it a habit to send personalized gingerbread houses to their loved ones, courtesy of The Solvang Bakery.

This year, they kept the custom going, and as the recipients shared images of the sugary homes to their accounts, Ripa re-posted the photos to her own Instagram Story.

One of the elated giftees was comic book creator Rob Liefeld, who posted a photo of the gingerbread home and said, “Always the most amazing gift! Thank you @kellyripa @instasuelos @michael.consuelos & family!”

Based on images that Ripa shared to her Story, other recipients included celebrity trainer and choreographer Isaac Boots, CEO of HelloHive Byron Kantrow Slosar and lifestyle expert Monica Mangin (who frequently appears on Live with Kelly and Ryan).

The Consuelos family have been giving out these delectable homes for years now, and we saw an example of it back in December 2021. Seacrest showed off one of these gifts in an Instagram post that simultaneously celebrated the birthday of his niece, Flora.

“It’s someone’s birthday today! Seacrest wrote. “Shout-out to Auntie Ripa and Uncle Mark for Flora’s bday gingerbread house - I think we have a future architect in the fam.”

The Consuelos family never fails to impress us.
