Kellyanne Conway’s daughter Claudia Marie Conway and her left-wing rebellion

The fractured relationship between Donald Trump's former spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway and her 15-year-old daughter Claudia has come under the spotlight again following the president's COVID-19 diagnosis.

After sharing on TikTok that her mother was "coughing around the house", Kellyanne Conway confirmed news of her COVID-19 diagnosis.

This was followed by a series of fraught TikTok posts in which Kellyanne appeared to order Claudia to retract comments which suggested Kellyanne had kept her diagnosis from her daughter and subsequently infected her.

“Little clarification from my previous posts. My mother claims that she did not lie to me. She had three tests done, first negative, second two positive. We were not in communication. I misinterpreted it" Claudia said.

In another video, Kellyanne can be heard saying "you lied about your f**king mother, about Covid."

In a tweet, Kellyanne also clarified that she had had three tests - one of which came back negative.

She also called out "sick" followers for irresponsible behaviour, highlighting Claudia's age.

In August, Claudia had another very public bust up with her mother after discovering the latter was set to speak at the Republican National Convention, Claudia tweeted that she was “officially pushing for emancipation.”

Speaking to her followers, Claudia continued: “Buckle up because this is probably going to be public one way or another, unfortunately. welcome to my life.”

"I’m not getting emancipated because of my mom’s job.. it is because of years of childhood trauma and abuse.”

Her mother, Kellyanne, one of the most public faces of the Trump campaign, has since resigned from her post as senior White House advisor - tweeting that she would be “leaving the White House. Gratefully & Humbly.” Claudia's father, George Conway, also announced he was “withdrawing from @ProjectLincoln to devote more time to family matters.”

The tension within the Conway household over political views has been well documented by Claudia on TikTok, where she has stressed in the past that her “views have absolutely nothing to do with my mom’s.”

Left-leaning Claudia, who uses her platform to talk to support causes including Black Lives Matter and has pinned a tweet urging users to vote Trump out, has over 18.9m views on her account - many of whom have witnessed filmed arguments between herself and Kellyanne firsthand.

Claudia has also said her mother “got me ARRE$$TED” in the past on TikTok, claiming in a follow up video that her mother said she was “gonna get arrested again for making ‘false allegations’.”

Claudia first went viral on TikTok earlier this year when she began posting liberal videos about the Black Lives Matter movement and “saving” Barron Trump.

Her father is George Conway III, who has been openly anti-Trump and considers himself a “never Trump Republican.” George has amassed more than one million followers and frequently tweets anti-Trump sentiments. Claudia has a twin brother named George IV, as well as two younger sisters, Charlotte and Vanessa.

Claudia has also tweeted directly to President Trump and has even shared (before then deleting) text exchanges with her mother.

Her account @claudiamconway has more than 250,000 followers.

She posted one controversial video on her Twitter that has since been made private.

She also previously urged her followers to leave 1-star reviews for Trump’s restaurants and golf courses and then also posted a clip that was captioned “Save Barron 2020,” which refers to a movement started on TikTok in reference to Trump’s youngest son, Barron, who is 14.

She posted: “Hi so if you’re leftist, acab, anti-trump, blm, etc. please interact w this because most of my comments are threats from angry trump supporters.”

Her TikTok bio previously read, “It’s a great day to arrest brett hankison, john mattingly, and myles cosgrove,” referring to the officers who were involved in the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor.

She wrote earlier this year on Facebook: “In light of recent events highlighting the #BlackLivesMatter movement and the fight against systematic racism and police brutality, we would like to publicize our solidarity and support with those in the black community. We stand together. No justice, no peace. It is our duty, as young activists and advocates in our troubled nation, to take a stand against adversity by using our platforms for good."

After commenters figured out her famous mother, she wrote: “Believe it or not, you can have your own opinions not influenced by your parents at all simply by educating yourself! My views don’t have anything to do with my mom’s.”

Despite their differences, she previously insisted she and her mother have a good relationship.
