Kelsea Ballerini revealed her washboard abs while posing in a black bra top and blazer combo.
The 28-year-old singer is taking a break from her strenuous workout routine and reuniting with her "inner child" with long, slow walks and ballet to keep her body moving.
Kelsea makes sure to build "me time" into her schedule and enjoys taking hot baths with essential oils to relax at the end of a busy day.
Kelsea Ballerini is "back to work," she announced in a recent Instagram post. And her professional 'fit is totally glamorous. She posed in a black bra top with a patterned blazer, revealing her mega-toned abs.
Taken at the 1 Hotel in Nashville, the singer-songwriter has returned to her home state for some fashionable business.
She gave fans a spin to chronicle her look. She included photos of her side profile and her back to show off the blazer's intricate design and her funky hairstyle. I'm gonna have to try that sleek and stylish ponytail.
Fans were impressed by her "business-casual" attire. One even corrected her caption, "you mean werk," they said. Another called Kelsea a "BOSS BABE." Not wrong!
Being the boss that she is, Kelsea has a demanding, busy schedule that doesn't leave her much time or energy for her workouts. While she was prepping to be the opening act for the Jonas Brothers last year, her on-the-go exercise routine left her burnt out, she told WH.
After a "Season of Rest," as she called it, Kelsea has found a way to stay active that aligns with her day and boosts her mood rather than depleting it. She's been focused on doing "a lot of things to kind of reconnect with my inner child,” she said.
For her, that looks like long walks at a slow pace. This exercise helps her to hit her daily step goal and maintain a positive mental state. From the looks of it, she's been having a pretty amazing summer.
She also enjoys ballet. "I danced for 10 years when I was younger, and quit when I was 14. But I loved it so much," she said. (Peep, mini-Kelsea in the last pic of her IG post.)
She found a ballet studio in Nashville and takes private lessons there a couple of times a week. Kelsea has embraced the muscle memory and soreness that the dance form brings out in her body.
The 28-year-old singer shared what her "me time" consists of. "I have a SoulCycle bike, and I love to do that. I am a hot-bath fanatic. I have all my essential oils, and I do that pretty much every night, she told Shape. "I can show up in a more present way when I'm taking time for myself."
Sounds like a recipe for success to me! Thanks for the tips, Kelsea.
