Kendall Jenner is the most private Kardashian. But last night, she and her rumored boyfriend Ben Simmons went on a public date ahead of their first Valentine's Day together. They held hands, something they've never really done in front of paparazzi. (They did kiss once back in the summer though...)

Jenner is in New York City for fashion week, while Simmons, who is on the Philadelphia 76ers, was there to play against the New York Knicks. But Jenner devoted Wednesday night to Simmons. She was filmed arriving at Madison Square Garden for his game. His team won, so the two got dinner at Zuma to celebrate. Then they went clubbing at Marquee. It was a packed night:

Jenner and Simmons have been photographed out together before, but the outings were sporadic. The long pre-Valentine's Day date comes after Jenner spoke about their relationship for the first time to Ellen DeGeneres last week.

Jenner was pretty limited in the detail she gave. But she did confirm that they've been dating for "a bit now." (Jenner and Simmons were first romantically linked last summer, fizzled out at the end of it, then were "casually" dating again in November.)

Kendall "thinks" her mother Kris Jenner approves of them. And that's all DeGeneres tried to get out of her. Jenner and Simmons are not Instagram official, so don't hold your breath for a Valentine's Day tribute post-especially given what Jenner has said in the past about keeping her love life private.

Jenner told Harper's Bazaar that she was never going to talk about any boyfriend, unless she was engaged to him or in something serious and long-term with him. "If I'm not fully, fully in it with someone, why would I make it public to everyone else? If I don't even know what it is, why would I let the world know?"

"I think [a relationships is] something sacred," she added. "It's something between two people, and nobody else's opinion needs to be involved in it. People want to start drama. If I had a boyfriend, people are going to say all this stuff that's probably going to cause us to break up."
