Kendall Jenner looks almost unrecognizable in the first images from her new campaign with Burberry. Photos of the 25-year-old have been criticized on Twitter, with some fans even crowning her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, as the "better model."
On Monday, the British fashion brand shared new photos of Jenner to Instagram feed to promote a new collection of modern handbags. The images were promptly met with comments from fans who remarked on the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star's "different" appearance.
"Kendall doesn't look like Kendall," one follower wrote.
"Normalize not looking your best," another quipped.
"Who actually is this?" a follower asked.
On the same day that Jenner's photos were released, a new spread featuring Kylie was also published by TMRW Magazine. It didn't take long for Twitter users to start sharing side-by-side comparison photos of the two sisters, dubbing Kylie the "better" model.
"It was bad for Kendall," one person tweeted, while another wrote, "This has to be a joke there’s no way Kylie ate up her supermodel sister like that."
"Kylie really is the better model lol," one fan pointed out.
"I’m here for the Kendall slander in general, her photoshoot boring as f—-," another person wrote.
"Kendall is the worst 'model' in the family...Kourtney for Vogue is different, and Kylie just ate her up too," added someone else.
The eldest Jenner began her career as a professional model when she was 15. In 2018, Forbes magazine declared Jenner the highest-paid model in the world, with a net worth of $22.5 million.
“I remember being 13 or 14 and making the funniest little book for my mom of photos of me that I took,” Jenner told Vogue in 2016. “I was like, ‘I want to be a model and you need to help me.’”
The star explained that her mom, Kris Jenner, was on board with her plans to model professionally and quickly placed a few calls to help her land her first gig.
