Kenzie Brenna is owning her femininity.

The Canadian influencer took to Instagram on Monday to share a set of photos alongside a caption about what she uses for her menstrual cycle. In the series of snaps, the Vancouver-based social media star wore a brown sleeveless top and black underwear, as she posed indoors while facing away from the camera.

In each shot, Brenna included a tidbit of information about menstrual resources for her more than 381,000 followers.

On first snap, she wrote, "It is feminine and normal to wear pads. You are not any less of a woman or person for the menstrual care you choose."

She added in the second photo, "Whatever support feels good, do that. Calling things diapers or saying 'tampons are toxic' is not helpful."

For the third pic, Brenna shared, "Having resources for the time when our wombs shed is a privilege. We should be so grateful and uplifting one another with whatever care they see fit to their body."

In the caption to her post, Brenna explained that she sometimes wears pads and other times wears tampons. Either way, she's received criticism, even from other women.

"This is why you gotta do whatever you want because you'll never make everybody happy! Sometimes tampons freak me out. Something sitting in my body for hours on end?! What! Sometimes cups are good! But I've lost mine before. Pads are comfortable and don't give me extra cramps! Organic tampons/pads are wonderful, too. Every menstrual resource has a pro and a con. Choose whatever suits you," Brenna wrote.

"I love my body and what it does. I love that I have a womb and uterus. I love that it does its best and sheds almost every month. I'm so, so lucky that I get to support it with whatever feels good and with whatever is available. I used to not feel feminine on my cycle and now it's the time when I feel the most."

At the end of her post, she also included a note saying she knows the language she's using is gendered, but does so because she experiences life from a "woman's perspective."

"I haven't always felt confident in my womanhood and now, I am reclaiming that and writing about it. If this writing doesn't relate to your experience, I so honour that and completely understand," Brenna penned.

Fellow social media stars and fans were quick to show their support for Brenna, with many adding their own experiences with menstrual products.

"I love this and love you," shared influencer Kelly U.

"Some folks have conditions where they have to wear pads or diapers for incontinence and there shouldn't be any shame in that either. We need to destigmatize it all!" one fan wrote.

"Why, on this tiny, ginormous earth, do people find it appropriate to comment on how people manage their cycle?? How everyone deals with an internal organ shedding on a regular basis should be up to them," another chimed in.

"I actually wanna applaud you for using non-gendered terms to describe menstruation in general, and clearly using 'I' statememts when talking about your femininity and your cycle. As a trans guy, I hard-relate to this! Don't get my period anymore (yay) but so happy for the normalizing, acceptance, even loving of periods," someone praised.

"Love this! I attempted to switch to cups and with my rheumatoid it just was not working for me. Back to tampons but also period panties, and some days, just the panties," someone else replied. "Choose what works for you and ignore anyone who's negative about it."
