Khloé Kardashian isn’t here for the social media backlash she’s receiving over her family’s proximity to each other at Scott Disick’s birthday party.

On Wednesday, the reality star took to Instagram after her famous family was accused of risking the spread of coronavirus by attending a small party for the father-of-three’s 37th birthday.

Kardashian’s photos and captions prompted accusations of hypocrisy among her followers, with many claiming that despite repeating the US government’s lockdown measures, she and her family weren’t abiding by the rules.

‘Not even trying to be rude,’ the 35-year-old replied to one comment after sharing a photograph of herself and Disick and another of her two-year-old True at the gathering, US Weekly reports.

‘Drives me wild when people act as if they know. Of course we want to protect ourselves. Simply for the sake of our angels, not to mention our own health. But it’s human nature I guess.’

In another video shared on Instagram Stories, the tot can be seen playing with her cousins.

The photo’s caption read: ‘Stay safe! Stay smart! Reminder, to keep gatherings small. 10 people maximum.'

‘They are all cousins,’ she reportedly wrote to one fan. ‘So we know how they have been quarantined and there’s less than 10 people with us. It’s literally what the governor states is perfectly OK to do in the state of CA.’

Earlier this month, the governor of California, Gavin Newsom, said that small gatherings may take place among individuals from separate households as long as numbers are limited and social distancing is in place. However, his recent decision to close Orange County beach promoted mass protests from thousands of Californians.

On Wednesday, the LA Times reported that the state has had 3,918 deaths and 101,836 cases of Covid-19.

Other guests at Disick's birthday party included Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian.

Jenner also shared photos from the gathering on her social media account and a rare snap of her dog, Normi.

‘This face gets me every time,’ she captioned the sweet picture of the pup.

Earlier this week, it was widely reported that Disick and his girlfriend of three years Sofia Ritchie had called time on their relationship.
