Khloé Kardashian defends standing by Tristan Thompson after cheating scandal

Khloé Kardashian is putting rumors to rest and slamming speculation about her relationship with Tristan Thompson. Video footage of the NBA star with another woman went public just days before Kardashian gave birth to their first child together, True, in April.

While the exact state of the couple’s romance is unclear, they do remain very much in one another’s lives and have been spotted spending time together — much to some fans’ consternation. The reality star took to Twitter on Monday to call out the scrutiny and judgment she feels she’s received.

Kardashian first set the record straight about photos that showed her and Thompson on what the Daily Mail called a “VERY tense dinner date.” According to her, it wasn’t a dinner date, and she was simply tired, as many new moms are.

She also fired back at a fan who called her a “hypocrite” for sticking by Thompson after his infidelity, despite the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s message of self-worth. Kardashian tweeted that the critic had “no knowledge” of what was going on in her relationship. She also referenced the “enormous rebuilding” involved in choosing to stay with someone following a breach in trust.

The fan later backtracked, clarifying that she was being “protective,” rather than “trying to judge.” Kardashian responded with a tweet of appreciation.

It sounds like Kardashian is still figuring things out. And whether her fans agree with her decision to try to repair her relationship, she wouldn’t be the first woman to take back a cheating partner.
