Khloe Kardashian claps back at meme about True looking like ex Tristan Thompson
Khloe Kardashian is clearing up any rumors that there’s bad blood between herself and ex Tristan Thompson after an Instagram user posted a meme about their daughter True looking like the man that Kardashian “hates.”
The reality TV star responded to the post by a man named DeMarko, which displayed a side-by-side photo of Thompson and the couple’s 1-year-old daughter to show their similarities. However, the caption that reads, “I know Khloe hates Tristan but Baby True starting to look just like him,” seemed to have struck a chord with Kardashian.
“Why would I ever hate anyone who helped create such an angel?” Kardashian responded. “People make mistakes but I won’t hurt my own healing by holding on to hate. I’m too busy raising my beautiful baby and securing that [money] to hate any individual.”
The comment, which was captured by popular Instagram account Comments by Celebs, sparked a ton of reactions from fans, including those who challenged the 35-year-old by addressing her animosity toward Jordyn Woods — Kylie Jenner’s former BFF who admitted to kissing the NBA player.
“Meanwhile, you and your sisters made sure to drag Jordyn,” one person wrote, while another said, “You can afford to bully and fat shame Jordyn and drag her all year without shame!”
Others defended Kardashian by assuring her that there’s no reason to defend herself.
“You never once posted or recorded saying you hate him so why are you here defending yourself? Stay living you life babe, keep raising that beautiful angel the way you are. You’re doing amazing,” one comment reads.
Another says, “Tristan is the father of her baby. She may choose to keep peace for her daughter’s sake.”
Kardashian took to her own Instagram stories to continue her response to the negative meme with some quotes.
“Hate no one, no matter how much they’ve wronged you,” one read. Another said, “We are here to heal, not harm. We are here to love, not hate.”
One thing that everybody can agree on, however, is that True sure does look like her dad.
“Sweet True has always looked like her daddy,” Kardashian wrote. “She’s beautiful!!”
