  • Kieran Culkin name-checked his wife, Jazz Charton, and their two children after winning his first Emmy.

  • Culkin asked Charton if they could have more children during his acceptance speech.

  • Here is everything to know about Culkin's wife and his two children, Kinsey Sioux and Wilder Wolf.

"Succession" star Kieran Culkin asked his wife, Jazz Charton, for more children following his first Emmy win on Monday night.

After years of being overlooked as the "Succession" youngest sibling, Roman Roy, Culkin won the award for outstanding lead actor in a drama series at the 2024 Emmy Awards.

During his acceptance speech, Culkin thanked his wife for her support and for raising their two children — Kinsey "Zissou" Sioux, 4, and Wilder Wolf, 2.

"And Jazz, I want more," he said to Charton, who was in the audience. "You said, 'Maybe if I win!' I love you so much."

Charton, an associate producer for a media production company, and Culkin met in 2012 and married a year later. Here's what to know about their relationship and their two children.

Charton, 36, was raised in London by her mother, the model and artist Coco Charton.

Charton attended King's College in London to study film studies and American history. After finishing her degree in 2010, Charton left London with a plan to live in New York City for three months.

"11 years ago today I left London for NYC for what was supposed to be a 3 month trip… 2 babies deep now so I guess I'm staying" she wrote in a 2021 Instagram post.

Charton met Culkin in a bar in 2012. As he explained to the I in 2018, Culkin spotted Charton talking to another man, so Culkin waited until the man left to go to the bathroom before swooping in to speak to his future wife.

"I asked if he was her boyfriend, and when she said no, I asked if I could be her boyfriend," Culkin said. "We've been together ever since."

Culkin told The Hollywood Reporter in 2021 that he also mocked Charton's name during their first conversation.

"I said, 'J-A-Z-Z, like the music?' And she said, 'Yeah.' And I said, 'Well, that's fucking stupid,'" he recalled.

The pair wed on June 22, 2013, in Iowa while on what was supposed to be a six-week road trip. The pair were on the road for 3-1/2 months. A woman named Kinsey — the same name as the couple's first child — helped them get a marriage license, and the impromptu wedding was held "in the rain with three strangers."

Charton said they held the wedding on the side of a road in the middle of a storm.

"Still the best pit stop I've ever made," she added.

Charton is vocally supportive of Culkin's career.

Charton and Culkin married long before Culkin's "Succession" success, but Charton has supported her husband every step of the way.

In 2019, after Culkin lost out on a Golden Globe, Charton shared a humorous picture on Instagram of the "Succession" star in a bathtub.

"Snapshots of a two time Golden Globe nominee (loser)... at least he got a chocolate one," she wrote in the caption.

When Culkin missed out on the Golden Globe again in 2020, Charton made another joke on Instagram, this time referencing her 2019 pregnancy.

"I got pregnant the last time he lost so I'm out of consolation prize ideas," she wrote.

Culkin finally took home the award for best actor in a drama series during this year's Golden Globe ceremony, and Charton sang his praises on Instagram afterward.

"He finally did it!!!! How insane!" she wrote in the caption. "What can I make fun of him for now? I'll think of something. What an honor it has been to be by his side for all of this!"

Culkin and Charton's first child, Kinsey "Zissou" Sioux, was born on September 13, 2019.

In September 2019, Charton revealed in an Instagram post that she had given birth to her first child with Culkin, Kinsey Sioux, whose nickname is Zissou. Charton said Zissou was born after 25 hours of labor.

"if I ever do this again I want ALL THE DRUGS, all of them!" she wrote. " I've never been more in love and we've never felt more complete."

Charton spoke about the trials of parenting in several Instagram posts after Zissou's birth.

In one post shared in May 2020, Charton wrote that she was taking medication after being diagnosed with OCD postpartum anxiety.

"I had no idea this was a thing. I just thought I was slowly spiraling into madness - which could also be true... good luck, Kieran!" she wrote before encouraging other mothers to reach out for help if they need it.

Culkin and Charton did not name their second child for seven weeks.

In September 2021, Charton shared in an Instagram post that she had given birth to a baby boy.

"One month with our perfect little man," she wrote. "#gettheepidural."

However, the couple did not publicly reveal their son's name until Culkin's interview on "The Ellen Show" in November 2021.

Culkin said he and his wife chose Wilder Wolf following seven weeks of debate after the baby was born.

"My wife wanted Wolf. She was fighting hard for Wolf," Culkin said.

According to Culkin, the couple hadn't picked a name when Charton went into labor, so they quickly tried to decide on one. However, since they didn't know the baby's gender, Culkin said he and his wife chose a girl's name.

Culkin said he doesn't like to be apart from his children for more than two days.

On rare occasions, Culkin has talked about his two children in interviews.

In 2023, Culkin said during a conversation with Taika Waiti for Interview magazine that he doesn't like that his acting job takes him away from his young children.

"I don't like being away from them for more than two days at a time, and it's not practical for me to have them there the whole time," he said.

At the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, Culkin told Variety that he was wearing personalized bracelets with his children's names.

Charton has also shared snapshots of her family life on Instagram.

In April 2022, Charton wrote in one post that she got a tattoo based on one of her daughter's drawings.

"I never thought I'd be this parent but she drew a 'flower' and now I want to cry and get this framed," Charton captioned a photo of the drawing in the post.

In May 2023, Charton shared on Instagram that she brought her two children to visit her home city, London.

"Oh London, you tempting beast," Charton wrote. "How dare you make me consider a move back."
