Kim Kardashian Continues to Obsess Over Pierced Nails
Kim Kardashian has never been one to shy away from experimenting with new style and beauty trends. In the new year, she’s debuted a lip ring, worn customized necklaces featuring the name of her hometown, and even tried out pierced nails.
The reality star and mother recently uploaded an image to her Snapchat story, showing off pierced black nails that appear to be chained together.
Earlier this month, Kardashian uploaded another shot to her Snapchat story — also featuring the pierced nail trend — but that one had gold hoops.

In the video showing off her nails, she can be heard saying, “Khloé would be so proud of me right now.” It was unclear why her younger sister would be proud of her new nail embellishments.
Many users took to Twitter to sound off about the nail look, saying that those claiming she started the trend were incorrect. “Who remembers nail dangles?! Kim Kardashian brings back MAJOR 90s trend with pierced nails,” BeautycribTV wrote. “Sorry Kim K, DID NOT start this nail trend. 80’s & 90’s I had my pinky pierced. Why not INNOVATE instead of recycle?” Nicole P. added.
Another user questioned if the process of getting the nails was painful for Kim. “Miss Kim @KimKardashian Those nail piercings DIDN’T THAT HURT?” user TrulyJulieRokks wrote.
