Kim Kardashian and Kanye West slammed for 'obnoxious and unnecessary' private 747 flight
They have been active in supporting the efforts of first responders during California’s recent wildfires, but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may have fallen out of the good graces of some fans after taking a private Boeing 747 plane on Monday to an unknown location.
People are now questioning how genuine the celebrity couple’s environmental concerns really are.

The 38-year-old reality star took to her Instagram story to share a luxurious tour of a double-decker plane, which included multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, an office, a lounge and a dining room table — which even she admitted was “pretty insane.” Even more insane, however, was the low number of passengers onboard, including people from Team Adidas, the couple themselves, and their personal trainer. A double-decker Boeing 747 is said to accommodate up to 660 people, according to Travel+Leisure.
This luxe ride has been seen by many as a departure from the pair’s recent environmental efforts. Just last week, Kardashian made headlines after appearing on The Ellen Show, where she presented two checks on behalf of her husband and Adidas to a local firefighter’s family and the California Fire Foundation. In addition to the donation, Kardashian told viewers of the People’s Choice Awards on Nov. 11 that “action is necessary” when it comes to supporting people who are working to get the flames under control.
Now, it seems that people are shaming the couple with concerns that their private flight could be fueling those same fires. One person even said that the extravagance of it all “makes me sick.”
I’m missing the connection. @KimKardashian and @kanyewest donate 500000$ to wildfire relief efforts, but take a 747 airplane privately. Will someone explain to them how the climate crisis work? Please?

@KimKardashian @kanyewest renting an entire 747 for themselves is so unbelievably wasteful it makes me sick. Leaving a much larger carbon footprint than they need to. You have the power and wealth to travel sustainably, and instead you do the opposite.For what? An instagram flex?
