Another week, another Kardashian being mom shamed.

This time, it’s Kim Kardashian under fire for her straightening her five-year-old North West’s hair.

Earlier this week, the 37-year-old star posted a photo of her daughter, North West, kissing her dad. While many of the thousands of comments were positive, one negative one left the mom reeling.

Don’t straighten her hair too much it’ll ruin her curls… I did that to my hair and ruined it but I’m finally getting my natural curly hair back,” read the comment.

Kardashian replied to the comment, setting the fan straight about her parenting rules.

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to hair controversy. She was slammed for her choices in the past after sporting Fulani braids – a style traditionally worn by the Fula people in West Africa. Claiming her daughter helped pick the style, she said the look came from a place of love and inspiration.

My daughter actually loves braids, like this last time I wore [them], she helps me pick out a look and will show me pictures,” she told Bustle. “I just think if it comes from a place of love and you’re using it as cultural inspiration, then I think it is OK.”

Last year Kardashian was criticized for her daughter’s outfit which included a corset-inspired dress. The celebrity claims the dress was not an actual corset, but rather just a detail.

And obviously, Kim isn’t the only Kardashian to come under fire for her parenting choices. Earlier this month, Kourtney Kardashian was slammed for simply going on vacation. Khloe Kardashian was recently called out for piercing her two-month-old baby’s ears with trolls calling her “superficial.”

What do you think? Is West too young for straightened hair?
