Kim Kardashian Says Her Family Isn't Pushing Unrealistic Beauty Standards

There have been tummy teas, contouring master classes, and waist trainers, but Kim Kardashian insists that she and her sisters aren't out to make people feel like they're reaching for impossible body proportions and out-of-reach beauty standards. During the Keeping Up With the Kardashians finale reunion, Andy Cohen asked Kim and Co. (her sisters were also present and accounted for) whether or not they felt like their social media accounts perpetuated unrealistic expectations for other women.

Kim was quick to respond, saying that she and her siblings "do the work," which includes exercising and staying fit.

"No, I don't. Because I think we get up, we do the work. We work out," Kim said.

Kendall Jenner added that she thought the only thing they want to promote is being healthy. That, she insists, is the only thing she wants her followers to take away from everything she puts up on her feed.

"We all really enjoy taking care of ourselves and being healthy, so I think if anything, the only thing we're really trying to represent is just being the most healthy version of yourself," Kendall said.

Khloé Kardashian also spoke about how trolls have treated her, saying that she's had a "face transplant," even though she noted that she's only had a few cosmetic procedures.

"Everyone says, 'Oh my gosh, she's had her third face transplant.' But I've had one nose job, [with] Dr. Raj Kanodia," she said. "Everyone gets so upset, like, why don't I talk about it?"

She went on to tell Cohen that he was the first interviewer to ever ask her about her nose and that she's never had the chance to speak about it before.

"You're the first person in an interview that's ever asked me about my nose," she said. "I've done, sure, injections — not really Botox. I've responded horribly to Botox."

She noted that the show, and the subsequent scrutiny from blogs, made her want to change aspects of her appearance for the first time.

"The Perez Hiltons and all those blogs of the time … I think that's when I started to be hard on myself, because I was like, 'Oh, this is how other people perceive me,'" she said. "But my whole life, I had never looked at myself like that."
