  • Kim Kardashian is saddened by husband Kanye West’s current mental state.

  • Kanye’s health has deteriorated during the coronavirus pandemic.

Kim Kardashian is standing by Kanye West through the good and the bad. Lately, Kanye’s mental health seems to be deteriorating and it’s taking a toll on Kim, Us Weekly reports. They have recently been more open about Kanye’s bipolar disorder diagnosis and how it affects his behavior and their family dynamic.

“She is deeply disappointed and sad because Kanye is struggling,” a source told Us Weekly. “It’s a vicious cycle that Kim has had success at interrupting successfully for months at a time.”

However, Kim “isn’t surprised” that Kanye hasn’t been “abiding to terms of his care plan” that they agreed upon, and she thinks the coronavirus pandemic is contributing to his recent “downward spiral.” The insider added that “being isolated and alone essentially in his head isn’t healthy” for him.

Kanye’s recently gone on Twitter rants, making surprising announcements like his attempt to run for president, his goal to get Taylor Swift’s masters back, and that he’s breaking his partnership with Adidas. But the source says that’s not what’s bothering Kim. “She doesn’t care about the tweets, that is Kanye being Kanye,” the source said, adding that it’s “the mood swings and the manic episodes [that] are extremely difficult for Kim to help Kanye cope with.”

In August, People sources indicated that they are living separately—with Kim in Los Angeles and Kanye in Wyoming. An insider said at the time, “Kim still seems focused on making her marriage work. She is pretty quiet about her exact plans for the future, but for now, she seems okay with Kanye living in Wyoming.”
