Kit Harington Had the Perfect Reaction to That Jon Snow/Daenerys Scene in the Game of Thrones Finale

Warning: Major spoilers ahead.

If you were one of the 13.6 million live viewers who watched the Game of Thrones finale last Sunday (May 19), chances are you might have some mixed feelings about how it all wrapped up. It was, safe to say, a roller coaster of an episode, especially as eight years of edge-of-our-seats Westeros drama came to an ending over 80 minutes of airtime. (Not that we were expecting any less, thanks to that massive Mad Queen twist in the previous week's penultimate episode.) But, of course, we're just the viewers. For the actors whose job it's been for the past eight years has been to inhabit roles like Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, there's bound to be even more attachment when it comes time to say goodbye to the characters. And in HBO's The Last Watch documentary, which aired last night, we got an intimate look at the moment Kit Harington finds out about that scene between Jon and Daenerys in the finale.

Reader, he sobbed.

The moment in question, of course, is when Jon stabs Daenerys through the heart during the finale, after the two lovers shared a kiss. And let's just say Harington was feeling it: In a clip from the documentary that's been going viral, you can see him visibly reacting: burying his hands in his hair as the scene is read out, staring at the page blankly. Emilia Clarke, for her part, is across the table, nodding, and tearing up.

At about 20 seconds into the clip, Harington finds out what he's done to his Queen, and honestly, his reaction might make you tear up to. Watch it below, maybe on repeat:

Someone was also kind enough to make a composite of Harington's emotions:

And Clarke's:

Fans had a lot of other (relatable) reactions to the emosh moment, too:

Although it might be the end of Game of Thrones for now, don't lose hope: A prequel's reportedly on its way.
