Kourtney Kardashian Reveals Daughter Penelope, 6, Just Got Her First Ever Haircut
Penelope Disick just got her first ever haircut!
Proud mom Kourtney Kardashian revealed the big news on Instagram by sharing a slideshow of photos of the 6-year-old’s new hairdo.
“First ever hair cut in all of her enchanting six years,” Kardashian, 39, captioned the post adding a scissors emoji.
For the monumental occasion, Penelope traded her long blonde tresses for a stylish, layered bob — a style commonly worn by her famous aunts Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West and even Kendall Jenner.
Penelope showed off her new look, done by celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons, with a black vinyl jacket and a white t-shirt.
Fitzsimons also shared a photo of his work on his Instagram Stories writing, “Gave Penelope her first ever haircut today! That was pretty special.”
While she hasn’t had a haircut before, this isn’t the first time Penelope has experimented with hairstyles.

Back in 2016, Penelope and Kardashian West’s daughter North, 5, both got plait hair extensions — styled into french braids — for the family’s ski trip to Vail, Colorado.
It’s no secret that Kardashian is grooming her daughter to be a little fashionista from the new haircut to Penelope’s impressive style.
Back in August, Kardashian chatted exclusively with PEOPLE, revealing that her own wardrobe is an open book when it comes to her middle child.
Kardashian is also mom to sons Mason, 9, and Reign, 4, with ex Scott Disick.

“I just wore this little black Dolce & Gabbana dress in Italy and I posted a photo — I was with Domenico Dolce — and I saved that dress for her,” said Kardashian at the time. “I was like, ‘She needs to have this someday.’ “
“I save things all the time and she always tells me, ‘Can I have this? Can I have this?’ And I’m like, ‘What’s mine is yours,’ ” the reality star explains. “She likes to wear my bags a lot and I love mini bags, so I take a lot of her bags too.”

Kourtney admits that while she and Penelope definitely share pieces, the little girl has a bit of a mind of her own when it comes to her unique, adventurous style.
“She does everything. She loves it,” says the mother of three. “I usually just try to let her go with it. Once in a while I might chime in with, ‘Well, maybe it might look better like this,’ but for the most part, I let her do her thing.”
