Kristen Bell Shared the Cutest Throwback Video of Her Wedding Day
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard aren't at all shy about showing their love for one another – and, even more importantly, being real about the reality of what it takes to make a marriage work (see also: their openness about couples therapy). With yet another adorable video shared by Bell, they're giving us serious #couplegoals yet again.
In honor of Valentine's Day, Bell posted a short clip of her wedding day on Instagram, which she described in her caption as "one of [her] happiest days." The 11-second video shows the couple en route to get married back in 2013. The two had a famously low-key wedding after Bell proposed to Shepard via Twitter.
Their signature playfulness is on full display as the Parenthood alum, with a wide, goofy smile, waves at Bell's camera and says hi as they're driving to their courthouse wedding playing a music mix that, according to Bell, her soon-to-be husband made specifically for their wedding day drive. He leans over to give her a kiss off-screen and asks her if she wants to get married – while they're, literally, in the middle of doing that very thing. When the actress says yes (obvs), he floors the gas pedal "just to make [Bell] giggle." And giggle she does.
The Good Place star shared the throwback as a tribute to her love for her husband and the father of her two daughters. "I love you with my whole heart, @daxshepard - for everything you are and all that you have taught me. Happy Valentine's Day," the former Veronica Mars star captioned the video.
Like any wife, Bell has clearly been feeling nostalgic about her 2013 wedding. Just a few weeks ago, she shared a hilarious throwback photo of their ceremony, with Shepard laughing at his wife as she's happy-crying about their big day.
